If you are a solicited author and are ready to submit your manuscript to CA for consideration, click here to begin the submission process online via Rapid Review. Most CA articles are reviews of previously published literature. Therefore, original research articles submitted for publication in CA are generally not accepted. Submit unsolicited original research articles, integrating scientific information, for all oncologic specialties, concerning the etiology and course of human cancer. In addition to original articles, Cancer also publishes solicited Editorials, Review Articles, Commentaries, Communications, and Correspondence.

Submit unsolicited original articles related to the cytopathology of human cancer including, but not limited to: detection, ethical issues, ideology, genetics and cytogenetics, imaging, immunology, oncogenes, pathology and clinical pathologic correlations, prevention, screening. The journal also publishes solicited Editorials, Review Articles, papers for the Contemporary Issue and the Cytotechnologists Perspective sections, Correspondence, and Abstracts from the published literature.
